Time is usually the biggest management problem for everyone. It seems inevitable that at some point in your life you feel like there is not enough time to do what you like or need to do. It's part of the human condition (I don't know what that means but it seems an intelligent thing to say).
So instead of taking the familiar route, I will go with something really different and radical (not really). The biggest management problem I have is not having a consistent eating schedule. I usually go a whole days without eating. My classes are usually in the morning and I haven't eaten breakfast in the morning since 6th grade. My classes end in the evening and I only eat when I get home. So if you include sleep, I go 18 to 20 hours without eating. Even I think it's crazy but it never enters my mind because there is so much work to do. By the time I finish doing homework or studying it's time for my next class.
I just forget to eat. It is my intention to eat in order to keep up my energy in class and since I don't eat, I tend to tune out at times and don't grasp the material that is being taught. It seems like I should just take some time to eat but I don't feel hungry when I'm studying.
It's a "vicious cycle" as Fat Bastard from Austin Powers put it ("I eat cuz I'm unhappy, and I'm unhappy because I eat"). It's not quite as drastic as Fat Bastard's problem, but it is similar. I cannot feel hungry at the right time and when I do feel hungry it's too late.
The problem is difficult to manage so I just tend to neglect it.

Well i have to say your problem, like many including myself is part of a time management issue. There comes times were I also forget to eat because im so focused and concentrated on what im doing, or like you said find so little time to do it that i forget about it. At a point i had to find a solution because it was affecting my wellbeing and also mental state of mind. I made it to all my classes on time but, was i really there?...if you know what i mean. I came up with the idea of getting big boxes of snacks and fruits. I think it would help you if you did that. I mean it will hold you till you get home. You can just grab a oat meal bar and a fruit or something and bring it to school. In class when you start feeling hungry and tired, go ahead and eat some. I mean it's small and giave you enough energy. I MEAN IF YOU ASK ME, I THINK ITS BETTER THAN NOTHING...lol
Next time i see you in class you better have one of those snacks...haha
I know what you mean man about not having time to eat. Recently i've been trying to just make time to eat because I know I have to, even if I'm not that hungry I'll grab something small and fast. I've wanted to bring snacks more often to class but it's so uncomfortable for me to do that. If you're like me and hate carrying snacks in your bag the best solution is to grab a slice of pizza which is fast, or maybe a little cup of soup from the cafeteria, or a taco from ziggy's around the corner from school. The only problem with this is you have to have atleast a 30 min break. If you have a little bit of more time in the morning you should try grabbing a doughnut from dunkin donuts, or if you're not that hungry and it's lunch time or dinner time and you know you should eat something you could grab just a burger without fries or a 6 inch hero from subway just to get something in your stomach, you can also try eating something before you go home after you're done with all your classes for the day. But if you still don't have time to eat then look on the bright side..atleast you won't gain weight. lol
Great blog so far. It is hard to find time to eat during the day. Sometimes I forget to eat lunch and have to remind myself. The extra time it takes to prepare a meal or even eat it can be precious time. It's too bad eating is something we can just forget about for a day or 2 or just stockpile some sort of food reserve. I've been trying to sit for 20 minutes per meal per day just to take a small break and digest...it doesn't always work though. Try and keep smart snacks with you like nuts or fruit just to get you through the day. It is definitely getting harder and harder living in NYC give ourselves the time and care we need to survive.
